Pernah Dekat was built as an inclusive neighborhood space: a coffee shop where ideas, friendships, and small gatherings can begin at the same table.
Since opening on August 10, 2024, the shop has welcomed focused work sessions, late-night talks, and community moments in Manyar.

Pernah Dekat is at Jl. Raya Manyar No. 29, Menur Pumpungan, Sukolilo, Surabaya, East Java 60284. The cafe opens daily from 10:00 AM until 2:00 AM, making it suitable for meals, work sessions, and late-night hangouts in Surabaya.
Does a reservation require a deposit or minimum purchase?
Reservations require no deposit, minimum number of guests, or additional minimum spending. Each guest is required to order at least one food item and one drink. Payment is made at the cafe on the day of the visit.
How do I reserve Pernah Dekat for an event or group gathering?
Reservations can be made through Pernah Dekat's WhatsApp. Early booking is strongly recommended for busy occasions because capacity may fill up. The order list can be sent during booking or no later than one day before the visit.
How are the floors and event capacities arranged?
The first floor is near the cashier and kitchen. The air-conditioned second floor is non-smoking and accommodates up to 30 people. The air-conditioned third floor is a smoking area suited to events above 30 people or private-room needs, subject to availability.
Can I hold a birthday or event and bring an outside cake?
Yes. Birthdays, gatherings, and other events are welcome when every guest orders at least one food item and one drink. There is no additional minimum spending, and guests may bring a birthday cake from outside.
What facilities are available for visitors and events?
Pernah Dekat provides free Wi-Fi and a prayer room. A projector is available for events, subject to availability. Please confirm any technical event requirements when making the reservation.
Which payment methods are accepted and can an order be changed?
Payment is made at the cafe on the day of the visit using cash, QRIS, or a debit card. Guest numbers and orders may be adjusted; please confirm changes as early as possible so the seating and order can be prepared.
